Sentai Filmworks has announced that they will be bringing the anime adaptation film for the light novel “Aura” over to the states for digital and home video viewing (which probably means a Blu-ray / DVD release of the anime film).
Aura: Maryūinkōga Saigo no Tatakai is based on the light novel called Romeo Tanaka (or humanity is declined) which is a romantic comedy. The director of the movie “Seiji Kishi” has also worked on anime such as: the Persona 4 anime, Angel Beats! and My Bride Is a mermaid.
The story for Aura revolves around a freshman in highschool who is named Ichiro “Menzu Sato” who one day forgets his textbook at school. One night he decides to sneak into the school during the night to get the text-book back but meets a beautiful girl while doing it.
He soon finds out that the girl has a condition where she believes that she lives in a fantasy world and pretends to act like a fictional character. There is not yet an official release date for the Anime films coming to the state but expect a winter or early 2016 release.
